The Rest Of The Flight Was Finally Peaceful
After that, the flight became almost calm. The boy watched his cartoons quietly, his mother said nothing, and my seat finally stopped shaking. My back still hurt from the earlier kicks, but at least I could close my eyes and rest. It was not the seat I had booked, and it was not the flight I had hoped for, but the silence felt like a small victory.

When the plane landed and everyone started collecting their bags, I stood, stretched, and walked off without looking back. Maybe some people would say I should have handled it differently. Maybe they would be right. But at that moment, after being ignored again and again, I needed the behavior to stop. Sometimes patience works. Sometimes asking politely works. And sometimes, when someone refuses to respect the people around them, the lesson arrives cold, sudden, and impossible to ignore.
